2008 Schiopetto Collio Pinot Bianco - Love the acidity of 2008! This wine is a great representation of how Pinot Blanc can age. Copper color. Creamy texture, honey, elderflower and dried apricot. Delicious! Drink now or hold for another 3-5.

Schiopetto Pinot Bianco 2005, young, rich, textured, serious. Not v eloquent per se but a glorious food wine.

Very focused and clean with a mild lengthy finished. Not quite Chablis acidity but a pleasantly similar personality. It's still developing.

Steely, almost like a subtle river gushing of salmon and fresh glens of grass all around.
Bursting with a fleshy peach and apricot intensity, balancing with a little citrus tangerine, and a hint of that petrol you get in Riesling. But not at all overbearing. A nice minerality and effervescence to compliment the drupe fruit flavors.

Beautiful full deep medium gold… surprising for such a young white wine. Enticing bright aroma of spring flowers and juicy dripping ripe orchard fruit. Every once in a while you run into a wine that just knocks you back a step.. this is such a wine. Rich, ripe, round, weighted, serious, lip-smacking good, complex, alive, smile-inducing, with a finish that makes you want to pour a glass for everyone you know. We consumed this wine with extremely well-made takeout Indian… Tikka Chicken, warm spicy Chana, and downright hot Lamb Vindaloo… this elixir stood up to the hodge-lodge and made it better. I need to buy this wine by the case.

Qualidade de fruta muito boa mas que acabou ofuscada pelo excesso de madeira. De qualquer forma fez um bom paring com "bruscheta" de alcachofra e tomates frescos.
