Made by former Beaulieu winemaker Joel Aiken, Deep Ruby with pronounced aromas of dark berry fruits with spice and oaky notes. On the palate flavors of fresh blackberry and plum with licorice and toasty cacao. Tannins are a bit rustic now, generous acidity, long finish ending with fruit and toasty spice. Give this a year, I tucked a few bottles in the cellar, and will report back in a year or so!
