Reminds me of the 06 Reva-not as much heft yet layers upon layers. Has another 10 years in it.

A colder year which made this wine sublime for my tastes. Hitting spots right now with plenty of time ahead of it.

Sensational. Blackberries, fig, earthy, smoky, dirty, sensual wine. Really delicious. Saxum with some age is an ethereal experience.

Wow. This is one vintage before what I view as Justin’s transformative vintage of 2007 - kind of like Einstein in 1904 for any science geeks out there. This took about 30 min to come into focus, but once it did - wow. It’s a bit more heavily extracted to my palate than what he’s done ever since, but if you cool this down a few degrees and give it some time, you are richly rewarded with layers of intense but balanced fruit that belies its 15 years. A great foreshadowing of what has come to pass, this is amazing.

Loved it. Wish we had more. Ready to go and no sediment.

Champions bottle. Gift that keeps on giving. Crazy flamboyant. Exotic. Ripe. Pulled it together. White knuckle. Sweet spot as far as cellar time.
