Definitely had the ‘04 Saxum spritz. One of the group thought this had VA, but I didn’t get that. Nice glass after the Spritz blew off.

No fizz. Pure bliss. In mag. One of best Saxums of the year. Red fruit. Sweet tannins. No heat. Gorgeous.

I had this wine open for two days minus a glass I tried - that glass was great. When I pulled the bottle from the wine fridge two days later and poured it in to a glass and tried it after a bit, it was magical. Maybe the best glass of wine I have ever had.

10 years young. Amazingly heady, sexy nose of licorice and menthol. Silky mouth feel. Nice finish. Can't imagine this wine will get much better, but I have a couple in my cellar, so I'll let you know.
