Anniversary celebration in Jamaica. Does not get better than this as I’m with my soulmate ♥️

Day 2 and this picked up some urgency and a touch more character. Increased the score as a result.

What a way to kick-start the weekend. Impressive for its honied, unctuous nose. Palate displays caramelized notes with butterscotch, with an oily, silky texture. Ripe pineapples combine with allspice to complete an alluring presentation. While fully mature, this example is still singing from the rooftops.

This wine epitomizes spring. The nose was initially closed, due to the cool serving temp. Nose displays spring flowers, with hints of nutmeg and saffron.
The palate is all about finesse, elegance and grace. Subtle oak notes combine with citrus blossom. Medium length with moderate texture and sweetness. Suave and sophisticated. First SF, and it won’t be our last. Thanks so much for the reco,

Entry is big, fermented butter and canned peaches, back end is dry mineral, chalk, slate, unripe quince. After 45 min in the glass it opens to candied ginger, brioche and coconut water. Complex, will be great with 5-10yr age.

16’ Insanity! Drink at cellar temperature. Don’t see it getting any better. Drink them all up in the next 4/6 years. One of the better Chardonnay’s I’ve enjoyed from California!
