Restrained for Amarone. Wonderful freshness and finesse. Not overly boozy, thick, or raisinated. Dried red fruits. Cigar box. Black licorice. All the qualities of stereotypical Amarone but reeled in. Both blind tasters struggled with this one.

With its elegant hints of red fruit accompanied by a tangy flavor, Santico is aged for 30 months in wood barrels of different sizes, origins, and toasting, followed by several months in the bottle.
Dark red hue; concentrated, fragrant nose with top notes of cherry jam and cranberries, followed by hints of plum, dried fruit and cocoa.
On the palate it is full, round, with velvety tannins, pleasantly tangy with a long finish, with notes of red berries and an alluring full flavor.
