I love this style of slightly minty Chilean red. This also shows echos of crushed ivy leaf as well as well ripened blackberry fruit. Elegantly textured and a lot of wine for the money.

Oct 27th, 2020Deep purple in color with a purplish rim.
On the nose black plums, black cherries, black currant, chocolates, wood, earth, vanilla, licorice, cloves, light alcohol and vegetables.
Full bodied with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with plums, cherries, strawberries, currants, vanilla, licorice, spices, chocolates, tobacco, oak, cloves, earth, vegetables, graphite and herbs.

This is a nice everyday wine from Chile. Easy drinking and good by itself or with food. Spicy and tangy. Fruit forward with a nice mouthfeel.
Good right out of the bottle, and shows mild complexity after 2 hours. Even better after 4 hours of airtime, so be patient.
A good value wine and a Single Vineyard . Would be nice to revisit it in a couple of years.
I paired it with cheeses and light appetizers.

This has beautiful hints of blackberry, plum and raspberry. I paired with a medium rare ribeye and spinach salad, which had marinated artichoke, tomoato, and crumbled feta cheese .! #very nice
