Santa Cristina (Marchesi Antinori)
Toscana Sangiovese
A blend of 60% Sangiovese and the rest Merlot, Cab Sauv & Syrah. Deep Ruby with simple aromas of red fruits and floral spice notes. On the palate flavors of black cherry and pepper spice. Fine tannins, medium finish ending with fruit character. Drink now while it’s young, no aging benefit.

Very drinkable but feels a little flat on the palate and perhaps lacks depth. Still pleasing, medium-high tannins and a somewhat light body. Red currants and a little spice.

Apr 16th, 202090-91 Rated by Wine Spectator (I think... Wine something ortheother). I almost agree...this is the most reliable, consistently good, very tasty red wine out there. As usual smooth drinking, medium bodied but still flavorful balanced Chianti blend from the Antonori family...4 or 5 centuries of winemaking. Buy again and again for nights in need of Italian Vino that keeps nicely...red wine good for and with anything, any occasion. Price fools people, great value.
