First off the bottle is hefty thick glass. So it feels heavy. Dark ruby with purple hues. Beautiful color. Toasty spices with dried berries on the aroma. I get a little burnt cocoa when it opens up. Palette is medium tannins with dense berry fruit. A touch of char. Long lingering warm spice finish. Would drink again
