Reserva Cachapoal Estate Carménère

Stopped w Nomacork™, which probably hasn't done this any favora in the cellar.
Purple w a ruby edge.
Nose is of muddy, black berry and plum with a nutty/oxidative note. While there is balance d acid, the flavors lack freshness and echo the nitty notes in the nose. I wouldnt call this bottle faulty, but maybe compromised?

This one needed time in the cellar....a year or two or more.

Chocolate green. Satin texture hint if jalapeño. $12

This wine has a synthetic cork the others has a screw cap.

Aromas of ripe cherries and white pepper. Dry with a nice velvety tannins mouth feel.

2015 vintage. Opened 15th june 2018. Medium heavy legs. Purplish brown. Sweet strong blackcurrent scent with light earthy nose. Leatherly. High acidity. Medium tannins. Long finishing. Smoother after 2 days of opening.

A friend recommended this wine and he was right. Good aroma, full flavor bold taste. Will buy it again.

A pleasant Carmenere. Flavors of red cherries and white pepper.

Pairs nice with bold cheddar and steak. Smooth on the palate with a peppery finish.

Bright spicy flavors but a bit thin on the palette. Nice wine.
