Aug 15th, 2021I’ve been a fan of Ed Kurtzman’s wines and this Pinot was fantastic in the lineup. From the famed Bien Nacido, block not indicated. Sadly it no longer seems to be in his production, looks like the last vintage was the ‘17

Face off between two similarly priced Bien Nacido PInots. The Sandler is light with a gorgeous Burgundian nose. The Beckon is medium with more cherry. Sandler wins!

My latest six pack shipment had 4 from Santa Lucia and one of these. Yet my wife cracked this one while I was traveling. That said, the 1/2 glass left for me when I got home was quite awesome!
