Sonoma County Carignane

Purple red, medium extraction. Grapey fresh aroma with a hint of barrel smoke, later more like raisin. Light tannins. Cherry , cherry Pez and lavender flavors, nice acid. Still age worthy.

Texture and fruit. Fabulous wine especially sub $40. Could drink this every day. Rich without being heavy or high in alcohol. Really really great

If you need a powerful concentrated red without the heaviness and tannic bluster of a Cabernet, this guy's your huckleberry. Sleek and well built, with good acid and a lingering finish. Get some if you can. Good job, Tegan!
