This missed the mark for me. It smelled strongly of alcohol and some volatile acidity, overpowering the nice nutty aromas I look for in a tawny. An unpleasant sweetness overwhelmed any nut and dried fruit flavors on the palate. Overall, an unbalanced port.

Gotta agree with @heater atencio - not significantly better than their regular ol port ... save $16 and get the low-brow tawny

Has smells of paint thinner and chocolate and allspice. Cayenne pepper on the front of the tongue not as viscous as most with fig and slight burn at finish. Is it surprisingly good port wouldn’t read it the best but good for a nightcap

Meh. About the same as the less expensive sandemans tawny port. For the price I would buy the cheaper one. Ive had much better tawneys for the same price.
