Turn around in the darkness, corkscrew at the ready and hungry for justice. My tights leave nothing to the imagination.

Nice, light wine that packs a punch. Great for a warm summer's eve.

Plum and sharp red fruit are on the front of the palate. Some sweetness balanced with acidity. The color is a deep red, almost purple. The initial nose is not as intense as I would expect, but the bottle is still quite cool from the cellar. I will be pairing the Baco with Tourtière to try and match the recommendation from the Vintages notes. As it opens up I am getting the toast aroma and a hint of cocoa.

A friend bought me this, I'd heard good things but was suspicious... Baco Noir? Is that like turkey bacon? Fortunately, I was pleasantly surprised, this is the whole hog, a thick, juicy wine offset by a nice acidity and smooth tannins.

Price point is palatable and I can be at the vineyard within 45mins on a good day, so local too.

Would recommend hearty bbq food with this wine, ribs, burgers, steaks... All topped with some smokey rashers...

Debbie says, "it is very drinkable".

Very nice and smooth Baco. Love supporting local wineries. A little sweet and not ultra dry but still yummy for those who like more dry than sweet.
