Montepulciano d'Abruzzo

High acid, medium plus tannins, medium bodied. Flavors of red cherry, leather, rosemary. Smells like car wax.

Pizza wine with a little backbone. Probably would also be a good base for sangria. Black licorice and ripe dark fruit.

Delicious. Easy to drink. Dry. Spicy. Would absolutely get again.

A little too "earthy"

Spicy

Nice blackberry fruit with a spicy finish.

Cooked fruit. Leather. Serviceable with pasta.

Not much structure. Lacked depth.

Nondescript, lacking fruit and structure, at least it was cheap...
