Dried cherry, raspberry and earthy notes on nose and palate. Menthol and a skinnsy note indicating a Chianti Classico, with a mineral nuance. Medium bodied on the palate with the notes mentioned finishing with powdery smooth tannins. A classical (if I can say that) Chianti Classico. A great example of the style. After a while a tobacco note. 95% Sangiovese; 5% Canaiolo. Had my last bottle on 10th November 2024 with similar notes - savoury red cherry and raspberry.

Pepper, currants, very tart. Went great with gulf shrimp linguine. Improved throughout the meal. Fruit forward . Outstanding food wine🍷
