Owned by Dr. Angela Summers & Sanjeev Lahoti, both chemical engineers from Houston. Made their first trip to Willamette in 2003, & bought a grass seed farm in Yamhill. Planted first 12 acres of Pinot Noir in ‘07 & 12 more in ‘09. (Pommard) in 2007, & 12 additional acres in 2009. Aged for 18 mos in French oak (38% new), elegant fruit nose with cacao spice. On the palate cherry, dark plum & raspberry flavors with a cedar nutty tone. Soft tannins, lingering ending with slight tangy spice. Very Nice! 450 cases.

A nice nose of red fruit, maybe some raspberries. Oh my, nice deep lush red fruit on the palate. The raspberries carry over to the tongue. A nice bright acidity on the finish. This will pair well with dinner.

Some orange on the edge showing the maturity of thiis 2013. A typical Oregon pinot profile: smoke, raspberries, strawberries, and a fair amount of pepper. On the palate, well integrated tannins flowing into a long, pleasant finish.
