Margaux Red Bordeaux Blend

Wine is semi-bodied, on nose, i had cherries blackberries, fruitcake, oaky, and tobacco. On plalate, mellowed tannis, medium structure, ripe fruit, i loved the hint of sweetness from this ripe vintage. Elegant wine for this price point, this vin is 72% merlot, 20% carb sav, and mix of petit verdot and caed franc. Drink now, decant time is 2 hours. Cheers and enjoy

Needs at least an hour decant. After that the fruit matches the tannic structure.

Tannic I suppose due to age, but it developed over time and I really enjoyed it. Traditional style.

Good tannins buts lacks a bit on fruit.

Life is good today

Very strong and powerful Bordeaux that tend to be quite astringent and bitter if drunk alone. It mellows down if eaten with meat
