Lago Vineyard Fiano

[note for Fiano Bowland Vineyard, 2020 (sorry couldn’t find the correct entry] 25 cases made, 10 months fermentation in neutral barrel (228L). Full malo. Golden hue with green tints slightly hazy. Beautifully round texture. Meyer lemon, sweet pear drop, lemon Meringue pie, stone fruits - peach white apricot, hints of fresh pineapple (and pineapple candy) elevated acidity, long finish.

Perfect weeknight wine

More complex than what you would expect. Love it.

Olive oil, peat and pineapple. Textural and fun!

Had some real concentration for 11.8% alcohol. This grape has a bright future in CA.

Lovely wine full of refreshing charm. Simply sang with some grilled Maine scallops

2014 Fiano. Delicious salinity to the wine, drinking fabulously and should only get better

A bit flat and super leesy without lots of its own personality. Still a nice drink though, especially with a bit of cheese.

Exciting to taste what this variety can do in Northern California. All crisp white peach and delicious. The Glaabs do great work again!
