Way better than I was expecting. Tons of herbs and spice. Definitely get the oak but very well integrated with the fruit. Fantastic Pinot.

Last of my Rusack bottles. One of my fav's from the Santa Barbera/Ynez area. This is all sassafras, cherries and integrated oak in the nose. Lovely. Smooth palate of juicy bing cherries, hint of black licorice and a bit of sweet oak. Nice acidity rounds it out. Ymmy!

Strawberries crushed granite and black pepper on the nose. There is a dry velvety mouth feel the palate finishes with dried strawberries.

Hugely fuity, oakey, and vanilla. Not my style. Many people will love this.

There's just something special about Santa Barbara County wines imho.

Seemed a bit harsh and highly alcoholic. Rather big and muscular for a Pinot.
