First, cheers to Delectable working again after two weeks on the fritz.

This is our kickoff to the Memorial Day weekend. Hope everyone has a good one on tap with some of your favorite wines. So, happy Memorial Day weekend all!

Then, a garden update. We really enjoy watching it grow. You can see it daily.

The top pictures were taken May 1st. The bottom pictures are from today, May 21st. All that crazy growth in just 20 days. Amazing!!! 🍅 🌱🥬🥒🌽

As for the Ruinart, it is appreciable better using my new Riedel Vintage Sommelier Champange flute. Well worth the investment. These are a late birthday gift from our friends James & Christina. Thank you. The nose & palate much more vibrant. More on that as the weekend progresses. Cheers!🥂

What to do when the amount of Coronavirus cases keeps increasing in California. Start the night off with a glass of one of our favorite N/V Rosé Champanges.

All my numerous notes still apply!

Stay infection free folks! Cheers! 🍾🥂

Check out the chalk all over their caves!!!

Plush soft strawberry. A bit of wood. Very lush and open on the midpalate, but let down a touch by a slightly truncated finish w it butter wood. A lovely wine though

Pale strawberries, red apple skin, fruit scone... balanced and elegant on the palate.

Stunning bottle got better with air . Red fruits , fig, minerals , orange zest , brioche . Lush and full on the palate with a fine bead of bubbles and lingering flavors of blood orange , cranberry and nougat . Tasted out of a magnum

Not the best bottle I have had of this Champagne but still very good mature apricot and nectarine notes accompanied by fig and mushroom notes with dried red fruits and brioche and nougat .

Very pretty. Limpid sea shells, rock pool, wild strawberry. Quite light but beautiful balance. Very pretty and spring-like. Really long and exciting.

Iron, earth , blood orange , fig and grilled nuts . Very reminiscent of great red Burgundy with bubbles . Not the freshest example I have tasted of this Champagne but still very good .
