Second bottle of this vintage. I double decanted this one for about an hour and it shows 10x better. This is why it was one of the top wines of the year. Buy the 2007 vintage if you can find it.

Nov 18th, 2017Just brilliant. Big Super Tuscan with toasty oak and a smoky feel throughout this wine. Loads of fruit and spice. I wish I had decanted this one a lot longer. Needs a good 2 hrs. Paired well with a couple of spicy Italian pasta’s. 2007 vintage. Top 20 wine of the year.
