Starting off this birthday week celebration with some older wines, this one was last up for day one (rounding up to tasting note 1,000 on Delectable this weekend).
Deep garnet red. Layered nose with a touch of jam, floral herbs, some baking spices and dark berries. Moderate tannins (7/10) and medium bodied. Tons of dark red fruits on the palate with some blue fruits, and baking spices. Seems like a bit of mountain fruit too with some floral notes and dark berries. Long finish. Drink till 2022.

This was a gift from a customer. Rhonda and I really liked it. Seems to be at that sweet spot on aging. Buy some and drink it now, just right!
