Feb 20th, 2016Bordeaux blend (plus Syrah) that speaks clearly of the grapes but also the place--unmistakeable dark berries, rich plum, cocoa, balanced pyrazines, and even glints of purple on the rim (I think from the Syrah), with Tuscan earth notes that remind me of chianti and blazing acidity. Was pretty dead the next day, so drink up!
