93-95 points. There rusticity here, unlike other vintages. Not a bad thing, just different. Tannins are not as refined as 14 nor 15. Will be interesting to see its ageing curve.

May 4th, 2018Roy nailed this vintage and while still sooo young, its balance and grace is truly impressive. Sweet red berries, dark plums and black cherries jumps from the glass and are complimented on the palate by wonderfully handled tannins and juicy acidity. Will age gracefully.

Nov 1st, 2023A beautiful wine. I expected this to be bigger and bolder than it proved to be. Took a 3 hour decant but it was smooth as glass and held up to a bone-in ribeye. Tremendous bottle!

Really enjoyed this wine. Probably better on Day 2, but mainly because it was too cold at first which muted the nose. Has a bit of tannins but it’s a deep, dark luscious sip.
