Intense aromas and flavors of mushroom, tobacco leaf, black tea with just a hint of black cherry fruit. Hints of meat, Forrest Floor and leather. All of the tertiary/savory notes come to the forefront and the fruit stays in the background. Lighter in body. Dark garnet color.

Agree with earlier, kind of earthy. More like a boujolais. Too young?

Really enjoyed this wine when I first had it about a year ago - it's lost a lot of the fruit & complexity - hoping it's just this bottle

A miss, something off with the acidity of this wine.
