California Red Blend

WSJ. The description cracked me up. More is more. 😂 But pretty solid blend!

Light, fruity and smooth. Can also be enjoyed cold (as per the expert). Great summer red.

Needs to decant.

WSJ wine. Wasn’t sure what to expect as I read the label. This could have gone sideways fast. But was an okay little wine. Really dark in color. Fruit forward on the nose for sure. Some black cherry and plum up front. A little bit of an herby, grassy quality in the middle and dry on the finish. Interesting wine. Enjoyed it more than I expected.

Pretty dreadful, to my taste.

This #california multi-blend is a bit of a fruit bomb with some depth of flavors and enough acidity for balance. Dark fruit jam, loads of vanilla, some cocoa and tobacco with soft tannins. It’s too sweet for my taste.

smooth with cherries and berry flavors. Has a hint of vanilla in the finish

Extremely smooth and velvety. Fruit forward. Decently long finish.

Usually not a big fan of blends but this one is really interesting / fruity, great for starters

Nice blend with chili-rubbed pork chops
