I just found this hiding in our cellar, given the age on the wine, I thought that this would need to be dispatched with urgency. I could not have been further from how it actually presented.
The nose is lively and almost raucous. Loads of cherry jam and cinnamon. The palate is dense and compact, showing absolutely no signs of aging. Cherries, cedar and sweet jam are joined by powerful tannins. I’m floored as to how well this has presented. Kudos to the winery.

A blend of 98% Cab Sauv & 2% Petit Verdot, deep Ruby with aromas of dark berry fruits, oak and spice. On the palate flavors of black cherry and blackberry with black pepper, cacao and licorice notes, good acidity and integrated oak. Fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit, oak and mineral character. Good now, will age!

Huge amounts of extracted red fruit and a nice layer of fine oak. The tannins are silky folks. Fruit bomb city...🤘🏼🤘🏼🎉🎉🍷🍷

A ruby red with purple inkiness. The blended components really softened the overall profile. Merlot and Petit Verdot made for a lush experience. Nice.

Perrotti-Brown gave this 89 pts - it’s a travesty of justice. This stuff represents all things good from Napa. Enticing nose of kirsch, coffee and nutmeg. Sleek, bold tannins combine with deep, black fruits. Nice, well-behaved finish with a sweet balsamic reduction. Loving this bad boy...

We forgot to post this on Sunday. I just glanced at AG’s notes on this vintage, and he nailed it. The nose is luscious, while the palate is pliable, with pristine oak treatment. Regal tannins compliment moderate acidity. This is an improvement on the 07 vintage.

Ripe/fresh black cherry, blackberry...tannin very smpoth, acid still preserved...A great napa cab, not overly jammy and well balanced...
