Thick dark berries, coffee, slate, small blossoms. Silky tannins and a lengthy finish. While it has heft, it's well-carried and pleasing.

Such an intriguing bottle-cassis and smashed back fruits on the nose. Tannins are so fine yet still make a showing with perfect acidity. Fruit shows little, if any signs of age. Blackberry syrup and French press coffee fill the mouth. Ends with a light, muted finish

I wasn’t sure what to expect given the age of this wine ... some iodine, sous bois, oregano, dark cherries.. still with surprising freshness.. interesting blend noted on the back

Cleaning out the closet...
End of plateau. Chestnut, dates, spicebox, grandpa’s leather chair, coffee and grilled bell pepper.

16 years young and still displaying vibrant fruit. On the nose you get autumn spices, raspberry, and caramel with a hint of cocoa. Tart fruit with cinnamon and clove push through early in the mouth followed by oak, leather, more clove, tobacco and cocoa. A nice balance of tannins and acid in the finish. This is a world-class medium bodied red that I’d love to try in another 16 years.

Very balanced grenache blend. Heavy enough to stand up to a ribeye, but not puckering and overpowering on its own. Nice value.

Pretty good. Deep purple/blueberry coloring. Very strong cocoa/chocolate taste profile.
