Scents of smoke, minerals, crushed flowers and herbs precede a balanced pallet of bramble, cranberry peels, hints of pomegranate, cloves, and oak. Sticky tannins upon uncorking mellow after an hour or so. Enjoyable, but wished for more complexity.

Smoky, earthy, dark fruit, flowers, dried herbs, all washed down with mouth-cleaning acid. Pleasing finish but only middling complexity mid-palate. A tasty and versatile wine. Liking it more by the minute. $29. 14% abv. Somm Select.

2017 vintage. Opened on 17th Oct 2020. Floral, earthy, heavy tannins. Apricot, black berries. Long finish. Could keep for few more years.

Big and beautiful with a long finish. Smokey with hints of ginger, floral notes on nose. Absolutely delightful. Be careful to pair it with something complex as it will overpower delicate flavors.
