Not “bad” in any sense, just dried out fruit, candied berries, lofty oak and tight, yet mellowed tannins. Served blind, I was thinking Barbaresco from La Spinetta. Which I hate... as his was damn close in style all though and all Somms at the table suggested Barolo. Fun experience but .... I don’t get it.
