Strong nail polish/ethyl acetate aromas. Still had plenty of strong dark fruit on the palate, but the oak seemed a little fake/chippy. Bought off the store shelf so not sure about storage conditions which might have lead to the nail polish nose. Drank on 2/8/15

Last night at the Planned Parenthood Gala, I won this awesome painting of a female astronaut flashlighting a bunny. This bottle of Syrah came with it. It was the wedding wine of long time PP volunteers and personal friends of mine. This experience makes the wine great. Otherwise, well, if you don't have something nice to say...
