Bit of lime zest, plenty of full, rich, complex flavor. Apparently one of the few Champagnes that is still disgorged by hand. — 9 years ago
Knocked a few points off because it didn't make me question the very nature of reality (I've had a couple wines that have, so they get to be the tens). Really excellent multi-faceted complexity though. — 9 years ago

Perhaps a bit simple on its own (though delicious). With a spicy chorizo bread pudding it's heavenly. — 9 years ago
Just glorious. Fairly intense acidity and tannin, but the earthy complexity dances between them so gracefully. — 9 years ago

Everything a $9 bottle of wine could ever hope to be. 70% Grenache brings graceful aromatics and 30% Syrah adds some structure. Beautiful on its own, perfect with simple food. — 9 years ago
Really excellent for the price. — 9 years ago
I was beginning to think all Bordeaux reds were a bit overpriced and overrated, but this one proves me wrong. Elegant and full-bodied, with cedar and graphite right there underneath the velvety fruit. And about $12. What the hell. — 10 years ago
