California Zinfandel

Pleasant and brambly. Also nicely drier than I expected from this winery, variety and appellation.

Blend of 93% Zinfandel and 7% Petite Sirah, deep Ruby with aromas of ripe berry fruits and sweet add spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry and black plum with licorice, herbs and pepper spice. Fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit , spice and tobacco notes. Nice!

Sweet but not icky.

Unabashedly fruity. Boysenberry jam. Baking spice. It’s a big juicy enjoyable wine.

Plush style not for me

In my mind, this is the way a Zinfandel should taste. Fruit bomb, booze bomb but well rounded. This wine is excellent, pairs perfectly with Filet Mignon with a peppercorn seasoning. Smooth and silky but with HEAVY fruit. I love it!

This is a huge blue-fruited jam bomb. Almost dessert-like. Fun when you’re in the mood

Tastes like a Rombauer Zin.

Deep cherry and blueberry notes with hints of minerality. Fruit forward with a smooth finish.
