Pale lemon in color with a yellow tint.
Strong nose of citrus, vanilla, oak, butter, spices, melons, red apples and lemons.
Full bodied, bold and buttery, with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with lemons, grapefruits, apples, pears, almonds, pineapples, oak, vanilla, spices, sea salt, minerals and white pepper.
Long finish with tangy limes.
This is a great Chardonnay from Carneros, California. Buttery and bold and not too oaky, even for my taste.
Very smooth and enjoyable by itself or with food. Rich and extracted.
Robert Parker 90 points.
Thank you, Elvira for sharing. I paired it with Cheeses, crackers and great company.

God bless Rombauer for sticking with that label — 17 days ago
A well aged cab that hosted nice brown edges. A soft profile, with mellowed tannins. Blackberry and bing cherry. — 2 days ago
Within the genre of banana daquiri pina colada suntan lotion California chardonnay, this is a standout. And there is no question, despite the boring label, this is a very good wine! Maybe it’s the measure of success when something is so persuasive that one who usually tends toward other categories finds it extremely good. 👍 — a month ago
