Really good. I almost detect a hint of thyme? Or other herb 🌿 on the midpalate. Delicious.

The ‘RMS’ Rose Sparkling Wine is a limited production bottling by superstar winemaker, Rollin Soles, who first began making this style of Oregon sparkling wine in 1987. The nose is highly perfumed with red rose petal, guava puree, teaberry and melon tones that fill the aromatic profile. The palate is refined as there is a wonderful elegance and seamlessness to this beautiful Rose Sparkling Wine. Red fruits and lighter earthy and citrus rind notes dance with the bright sense of minerality on the palate. While refined, this wine has some seriously good weight. A stunning wine that is truly one of the best of its kind, I can imagine this great bottling will cellar well for two decades. But why wait? Drink 2019-2035- 95

The 2015 ROCO ‘RMS’ is a sterling blend of 70% Pinot Noir with the remainder Chardonnay. This beautiful wine saw some extended bottle aging before disgorgement. Coming from this warm vintage in the Willamette Valley, the wine shows a bright bouquet of baked apple, kumquat and sourdough bread that all line the slightly saline laced nose. The palate shows really good range and complexity which makes it simply irresistible in its youth. The bright acidity and saline edge combine with gorgeous citrus zest and Japanese pear flavors that all mingle once in the mouth. Another stunning success, this beautiful wine has a long journey left in the cellar. Drink 2019-2034- 94

This is a brilliant wine. The RMS Brut 2013 is ROCO's first sparkling wine, a new release, it's a perfectly-poised blend of 67% Pinot Noir and 33% Chardonnay that fairly blossoms in the glass; red berries, pear, and apricot vie for dominance, floating above this, spice, white flowers, freshly laundered linen. That same yin-yang tension is on the palate, it's all at once nimble and delicate, yet there is power too. The finish deserves praise, yeasty bread and mouthwatering, saline crispness. It's really well done, look for it this fall. Sample

Outstanding Oregon bubbly! 70% Pinot Noir/30% Chardonnay. Aromas and flavors of golden delicious apple and toasted coconut. Fine bubbles and texture. There is a sense of brightness and austerity in this Dry Sparkler. Revisited again Christmas Day 2021. Above notes still apply. So easy to drink. Revisited again in June (on my Birthday) 2022! Still outstanding! Enjoyed it again in April 2024. Consistently excellent!
