Blind tasted this… said it was a California Cabernet (not Napa), 2017.
I guess you could say I had a… STRONG prediction.

Oct 10th, 2021A cab, like so many others. Good, but not enough distinctive character.

Dec 16th, 2018A deep, saturated color leads to lifted aromas of blackberry, cocoa and herby black-currant, which is followed by a rich, layered mouthfeel, loaded with juicy black cherry, cedar, and crème de cassis. This wine is also elegantly structured with fresh acidity and ripe, mature tannins. Enjoy this vibrant Cabernet Sauvignon now and over the next several years.

I had high hopes, considering I usually don't spend $14 on a bottle of wine, but I was in a celebratory mood. It lacks that aroma that fills your mouth and nose when you take a sip. In a way it's flat like that. It isn't bad either, but there are better options given the price point. It was... meh.
