Reserve Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

100% Cabernet Sauvignon, deep Ruby color with aromas of red and black fruits, herbs and sweet floral spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry and black cherry with floral herbs, earthy vanilla oak, tobacco and black pepper. Fine tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, toasty oak and herb spice.

Finally back outside if only briefly. I like Rodney, but this is only marginally better than the non-Reserve. Some bitterness.

It’s your typical Rod Strong cab, which is what they want. Easy, quality, and consistent. Light jams and solid structure. Not going to blow you away but always going to please.

Black cherry, raspberry preserves, eucalyptus, vanilla, cherry, cassis and oak. Full-bodied and velvety tannins.

Blackberry, cassis, black cherry, vanilla, raspberry, licorice, eucalyptus and oak. Good structure and moderate tannins.

Solid Sonoma Cab. Pleasant nose of stewed berries, cedar and vanilla. Well balanced on the palate with lovely medium tannins.

Classic of the Strong family

Smooth, rich, sweet baking notes. Paired perfect with Bittersweet chocolate.

Chocolate, red licorice, cedar (for real).

Can't always have WA wine, nice CA Cab
