Rochioli
Russian River Valley Chardonnay
Straight out delicious. Dark. Viscous. Mango? Draw back was the headache.

Feb 4th, 2023Medium lemon with pronounced aromas of rich stone fruits, floral, herbs and biscuit notes, from several single vineyards and aged 8 months in French oak. On the palate flavors of apple, apricot and pineapple with notes of vanilla, honeysuckle and citrus. Lively acidity, long finish ending with a citrus fruit touch of mineral, floral and yeasty notes.

Jul 21st, 2021Wine is showing extremely well but could still use sometime to age. Lemon, lime, orange marmalade, green apple, pear, some confection, medium acidity, what I would describe as a beautiful acidic, citrusy with touches of dairy key/lemon meringue pie.

Jun 29th, 2021The 2019 Chardonnay Estate is a gorgeous appellation-level wine. Bright, floral and finely cut, the 2019 possesses terrific energy and cut, all in a gracious, airy style that is hugely appealing. Lemon confit, melon, dried flowers and a touch of spice linger. The Estate is a blend taken from across the property, and that complexity makes for a highly intriguing wine. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, January 2021)

July 4th Friday was a total blowout! Killer bottles one after another. Here are just a few of the bottles we all enjoyed!
Drinking at its peak. Soft butterscotch notes but not very candied/sweet. Lemon oil, honeysuckle, and honey roasted cashews. Very rich and textured on the palate. Really nice.

May 11th, 2019The best wine I had during was three tastings. Rich yellow apple and green pear, nice medium acid along with brûlée caramel and perfectly balanced butter. I cannot to see how this evolves.

May 10th, 2018Thought this was a goner at first, but with about a half an hour of air this rose from the dead. Definitely advanced and nutty, but complex and went well with our cheese plate lunch.
