Light crimson colored. Red edged. Aroma is a bit earthy. Some floral elements. Maybe a hint of caraway. Flavors are tart and juicy. Softer, simpler stuff. Bit of licorice in with a boat load of cheerful cherry. Finish is bitter with some nice tannic action. A drinkable, fairly enjoyable little Nero D’ Avola.
