My first experience with the Pais varietal. Dry farmed, unfined, unfiltered. Surprisingly low ABV @ 11.5%. From the bio-bio Valley of Chile#. Really like the texture on this wine, simple and straightforward.

After an hour, there’s a nice cranberry flavor in the attack, but the finish is so harsh that it is hard to stomach this wine.

Was not a fan. Earthy and sour.

Good cranberry juice infused with alcohol and a dusting of earth. Can definitely chill this. Enjoyed with a pork chop.
