a pleasant surprise! light, bright, and mineral-driven with tones of anise and thyme. nice to see something other than a fruity juice bomb out of Chile.

Feb 4th, 2024Fun on day 1, even better on day 2. Softer tannins and fleshier fruit but retains a light mineral core.

Dec 17th, 2021The nose is a bit of a tease, with hints of herbs and ginger eclipsing subtle wafts of orchard fruit and riverbed minerality. The autumn gold hue is a bit misleading (but remember, these wines spend considerable time on their skins); rather than rich viscosity, the palate is impressively fresh and citrusy, while still maintaining a level of grippiness and structure. Believe it or not, I had this with sushi and it did not disappoint!
