Private Selection Central Coast Sauvignon Blanc

Refreshing and pretty clean. I liked it for a white.

Straw with green edges. Aromas of stone fruits, almost a sweet character. On the palate some typical flavors peach with some citrus and earthy herbs. Not overly complex but somewhat disappointing for its $15 price tag. Crisp, short ending. Recently tasted Lapostolle from Chile, and at $10, blew this wine away. Pays to shop around.

Citrus and green grass on the nose. Sweet and tart in the mouth; medium finish.

As one would expect of a Mondavi, it tasted exactly as one would expect a Sauvignon Blanca blend to taste

Not as fruity as Kim Crawford but I like this!

Some fruit on the front end, but not a lot, mostly lemon-lime, giving way to a mineral middle, and plenty acidic on the back end. Liked it better on the 2nd day, for what that's worth.

Really nothing special. Didn't do anything for me. Meh.

smells of lemongrass, wet stone, lime, little urine
tastes like sweetbread, biscuit, sweet lemon, a little cream, lime on finish. sweet and simple. lots of malolactic.

Went well with the chicken stew. 4/16
