I've always enjoyed Mondavi wines, but this bottle is an exception .
Theirs nothing appealing about this one, so I'll vacuum seal it and place it in the farthest.......
Corner of my fridge. Sooner or later it will end up in a sauce for a recipe. No other notes.

Here is a simple Merlot from California.
Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Fruity nose with blueberries, cherries, strawberries, light oak, vanilla, licorice, light chocolates, pencil lead and black pepper.
Medium plus in body with high acidity and nice legs.
Dry on the palate with cherries, strawberries, cranberries, wood, spices, peppercorn, green herbs and tobacco.
Tart on the finish with no tannins and tart cranberries.
This is a drinkable Merlot from California. Tart and unbalanced and not for me. Others liked it though.
13.5% alcohol by volume.
