Mernet (mare-nay), a blend of 50% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc. Deep Ruby with aromas of dark fruit and sweet spice. The palate shows ripe blackberry, blueberry and black cherry flavors, very rich, with a touch of leathery spice. Fine tannins well balanced with acidity giving the wine great length and depth. Should develop well for another decade.

Still a bit early. Could have benefited from more time in the cellar. Concentrated and long, but the alcohol is still a bit boisterous.
