Amazing nose of cassis and a tiny bit of soil. You can smell from 10 inches away from glass. Long finish and still a bit tannic. Would be fun to taste in 10 years but unfortunately, this was my last bottle

Birthday wine!! Woo hoo! Loved this big cab with grilled steak and veggies. Showing a bit of age in the rim, but nose and profile were still strong. Took a while to open up and drank a near perfect glass the following day.
