52/44/4 Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot/Malbec from Candlestick Ridge Estate Vineyard on the glorious Howell Mountain. This is their offering that’s for immediate consumption and is it ever. Very smooth with excellent body and enough complexity, but there’s no need to overthink things.
Lush mouthfeel with nice acidity. In the mouth, there’s a little smoke, a little leather, and a lot of fruit. This never gets jammy or devolves into a fruit bomb. It’s just plain good. Medium long finish with a suggestion of spice. Beautiful stuff but honestly, I’m not surprised.
