I have long been dedicated fan of Robert Craig and Howell Mountain fruit. Though I prefer their cabs, this blend did not disappoint. Enjoyed this w a big rare porterhouse steak, and the paring was delightful.

Black fruits and a moderate earthiness are the hallmarks here. There are plenty of tannins left at age 10, but they're rounded and provide a good sense of grip on the mid-palate and finish. There's no hurry on this one but, as with previous iterations, I think this Affinity shows best with some grilled protein.
