I bought this probably 10 years ago at a tasting. It's been in the wine cellar 'til tonight. Decided we needed a special dessert so opened it. What a treat.

Dark amber color with lifted, complex, and appealing dried apricot, toffee, caramel, molasses, date, roast nut, and warm spice aromas. On the palate it's full-bodied, rich, and sweet, but not overly so thanks to good acidity, and a rancio character with toffee, brown sugar, date, bitter orange peel, and warm spice flavors, with a long sweet, but not cloying finish. 375ml 18% alcohol. Excellent QPR at $14 #klwinemerchants #aussiewine #aussiesticky #wine #muscat #enofylzwineblog

Rum Raisin. A delicious and complexly sticky treat. Dried fig and walnut in there too.

Ruby golden in color with Brown notes (Looks like a port).

On the nose, brandy, sherry, red fruits, figs and raisins. Smells like a port too.

Bold and buttery on the pallet. Really nice and extremely sweet with citrus, honey, blackberries, blueberries, figs, raisins, brandy and lemon.

Long, sweet finish, With cinnamon and lemon.

This winery still uses traditional methods to produce their premium Moscatos. The vineyard is not irrigated, grapes are hand picked and crushed without machinery. The wine is aged in larger oak barrels and blended in a Solera system.

Very Nice Australian Moscato.

375 ml bottle.18% alcohol by volume.

375ml. This is a fine Muscat punching way above its price point. Brandy, molasses, creme brûlée, orange peel, toffee, caramel....Rich and sweet, but so smooth!

Had this probably about 10 years ago, and it give me a long lasting impression. Wonder why it took me so long to taste it again!
