Dark fruit, intense attack. Plush with good tannin though a bit hot. #knowthyself

Nov 17th, 2017He's back! Post the Torbreck apocalypse, David Powell has come storming back w this cracking Barossa/Eden Shiraz blend: this is an athlete of a wine, powerfully built, yet w great definition and muscle tone. Beautifully walks the high wire, balancing bright berries w savoury complexity. Reminds me very much of the very best of The Struie that he made and is a cracking good wine. Chapeau M. Powell! 🎩

Feb 5th, 2017Powells post-Torbreck wines have tiny allocation; this is at the higher end with layers of Rhone-like Syrah running through its veins. Restrained yet powerful and dense, too young but serious fruit. Smart
